Maryanne Lacaille has held orchestral positions with Boston Opera Orchestra in 1978-80 under the direction of Sarah Caldwell and Tanglewood Music Festival Orchestra under the direction of Aaron Copland. After completing her education and studies with Harold Wright, Attilio Poto, William Wrzesien, and Eb Clarinet with Peter Hadcock both New England and Boston Conservatory of Music in 1980, she accepted a Teaching Assistanship at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst for a Master Degree in Clarinet Performance and studied with Joseph Contino. In 1981 she relocated back to the Pacific Northwest to continue her education at Central Washington University where she graduated at the top of her class in 1990 and studied with Dr. Raymond Wheeler. Maryanne has performed with Phantom and West Side Story throughout Italy and Germany. She is a Buffet Clarinet Clinician and Rico Reed Artist and her Clarinet Seminars include past workshops throughout the Pacific Northwest, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Managua and Costa Rico in December, 2010. Maryanne is a member of several professional societies including:
